Barnwood is from standing structures that have either been deemed unworthy of repair or selected for demolition for other reasons. Most of these old structures were built with a mixture of species based on what trees were in the way during construction.

These pieces will have any and unknown amounts of saw marks, nails, nail holes, other metal artifacts, cracks, checks, splits, signs of one-time bug infestation, color, and texture.

All of Our Barn Wood Is Either Kiln-Dried or Shop-Treated for Insect Infestation.

This material is never 100% usable and don't let anyone tell you otherwise: it always needs to be qualified for professional use. This material requires lots of labor to go from these 80+ year-old structures to your project. We know what to do and how to do it.
