It’s perfect and exactly what I wanted.

I’ve been to ASW a number of times and Christian always makes the experience memorable. They have a great selection of wood species available and worked with us to understand exactly the style we were going for. Looking forward to setting these awesome reclaimed beams and columns for our project.

We had a great experience working with ASW. The wood and box beam fireplace mantel exceeded our expectations. The use of specialty wood in high visibility spots really took the design to the next level.

This place is amazing!! I walked onto the property and was looking through the wood, and knew they had some really great quality stuff. Walked inside and signed in and headed back out to the yard for the lumber. I was immediately greeted by the Owner himself. Christian understood my creativity and I was able to get the perfect aged and reclaimed wood with a ton of character and uniqueness. I needed some work done to the material and Christian made sure all details of planing and cutting were perfect. If you want a one of a kind wood product in your home you have to make a trip to Atlanta Specialty Woods!! I’ll be back!!

We are very pleased with the manel purchased from Jada with Atlanta Specialty Wood, hard to believe it started off as this grey piece of wood and turned into this beautiful manel. Very professional team that installed, couldn’t be more happy!

We heard about Atlanta Specialty Woods from a friend who had used their wood in their house. We purchased some barnwood for a kitchen project. Atlanta Specialty Woods had a large supply of wood to choose from, and stained it to our specification. They later provided some additional stain to us to do after installation touch-ups.

I sent Christian some sample photos and Christian and the team kept in touch with us throughout the selection process, to ensure they found exactly what we wanted. The piece they found was a reclaimed beam from a barn in Pennsylvania, and it could not have been a more perfect match! They even went above and beyond, and provided some great tips for maintaining the look of the mantel after installation. The location was convenient for our contractor, the customer service was exceptional, and the prices won't break your budget. We had Atlanta Specialty Woods finish and install two large fireplace mantels, two 12 foot beams, and a custom beam surround for a 60 inch range hood insert. The workmanship finish quality was outstanding! Jada was great to work with and very responsive. Brian did a fantastic job with the installation. We couldn't be happier. I highly recommend for all your specialty wood projects. They're the best!!

They supplied, finished and installed the mantel and corbels for our country home in North Georgia. We're thrilled with the finished product and will definitely use them in the future. Highly recommended.

There is no place like this in Georgia! Definitely worth the 3 hour drive I made..... I think I met everyone there.... The owner gave me directions on the phone.... Jada greeted me at the door.....and Dave, Scott, Kevin and Dan all worked with me on the details. What an education and it was so easy to feel good about spending more then at any other wood shop. This is not just any wood shop....they are all superstars and they love what they do. Other companies try to keep up with them, but they don't offer nearly as good of service or product selection. They are so friendly and patient.....what a day!!

We were looking for a fireplace mantel. They have a nice selection of mantels already shaped and sealed. Also the lot is full of wood to pick from for a custom piece. Very helpful answering all the specifics to make an informed decision from choosing a piece to install. Oh and the install. Wow! Absolutely painless and perfectly done! Will definitely use these guys again! Good job!

Christian and Dave at ASW crafted an amazing Georgia cypress wood mantle for our 30 year old kitchen fireplace wall. The finished product is exactly what we were hoping for and it looks awesome with our newly completed kitchen remodel. We first met with Christian not having a good idea what we wanted. Atlanta Specialty Woods worked with us on the design to arrive at the right details, including a beautiful custom finish. Had the best time going thru wood searching for blanks to make a new guitar body.. loads of choices, types and grades.. tons of reclaimed lumber to see..

Overall amazing quality of work. We had a few hiccups along the way, but Christian went above and beyond to deliver us the final product. We are very impressed and the shelves look amazing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and use them again
